Aboriginal Art Installations

I would like to thank Belinda, a parent in our school community, for her donation of this beautiful art work. Belinda is from the Boorooberongal clan in the Dasrug Nation in New South Wales.

The flowing effect of the river in this artwork represents the movement though our journey of life which is ever evolving.

We will place this artwork in our front meeting room as an artistic encouragement for all of us to grow and learn, and as reminder of our connections to the First Nations peoples of Australia.

Belinda is also working with us to design and paint the wall of Yaga Dirrum Yani, which will involve all of the students in our school who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Watch this space!
