Come and See Project

We have teamed up with St Thomas More’s APRE, Campus Minister and Year 10 Youth Group to teach our students at St Stephen’s more about the Eucharist, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and what it means to be a Christian in the world today. The STMC group will be hosting after school sessions throughout this term on Wednesday afternoons 3:30pm in the St Stephen’s Chapel, commencing Wednesday 22nd August.

Parents I encourage you to allow your students to participate in the Come and See Project. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students in Year 3 to Year 6 to enter into fun, meaningful activities where they can begin to explore our Catholic Faith and what it means to be a Catholic. On Wednesday we had a number of students and staff from St Thomas More College come and address our students and launch the Come and See Project. It was very comforting seeing young people excited about their faith and willing to share this with our students.

If you would like to know more about this, permission slips have been sent to all parents through Edsmart. Feel free to call the school to ask for more details.
