Fiver for a Farmer

This coming Monday (13th August) we are inviting students, staff and parents to support Australian farmers by dressing up as a farmer and bringing in a donation. This initiative comes from a 10 year old boy in Freshwater named Jake Berne who wants to help his mates on the farm. All the money raised will go directly to Rural Aid Ltd and Drought Angels. Although the title of the day suggests that you bring $5, you are welcome to send along any donation you deem appropriate. Please note, this is an invitation, not an expectation.

I must mention that this idea was brought to my attention by a Year 1 student at our school named Harvey. I believe that little Harvey’s passion to help our Australian farmers cannot be ignored. So, let’s get behind our farmers and do our bit!
