On Tuesday, a small group of Year 6 students, alongside students from nine other local Catholic primary schools, participated in the annual St Elizabeth's Mathematical Minds Challenge. The tournament was open to students in Year 6 and consisted of a Team Event and a Relay Event.
All students are to be commended for their enthusiasm, collaboration and persistence with the set challenges. An award for First Place in the Senior division was presented to our St Stephen's Year 6 team. Congratulations to Oliver who was our team captain and ensured all students worked collaboratively by deliberately engaging all students in the discussion. We are very proud of this group of students on their outstanding achievement.
